  Hi Everyone!

  Please join us for our first Tennis Triples Event of the summer on 

  Wednesday, July 1st, at 5:30 pm!

  Play triples from 5:30-6:30 then eat and socialize 6:30-?

  Let us know if you would like to play.  All levels welcome!  We will put together teams and create a round robin format full of fun moments!  

  Keep the fun going after the tennis with our “BYOBurger” theme.  Just bring your burger, bun, and anything special you like on it.  Our volunteer chefs will have your burger cooked and ready when you finish playing.  A few sides and condiments will be provided but feel free to bring what you like.  Yum! 

  Let’s fill the courts and our bellies on Wednesday night!

• Parent/Child Tennis Round Robin - Multiple Age Brackets

  Round Robin 

  Instead of afternoon tennis clinics, we are inviting families to come out for parent-child fun play. 

  
  

  
  

  At JPVIS, we're lucky enough to have parent-child combos that span many generations, so this year we're breaking the round robin into many age groups and levels: 

  11am - 12:30pm -- Advanced Juniors (ages 11- 18) and Adult-Adult (18+)

  2:30pm - 3:15pm -- Red Ball (ages 4-6) & Orange Ball (ages 7-10)

  3:00pm - 4:00pm -- Green Ball (ages 9-14)

  We will be using all of the courts for this event.  It should be a good one! Light refreshments (hot dogs, watermelon, and lemonade) provided.

  Let’s celebrate Wimbledon and dress in our all white attire.

  We will mix it up on the courts and finish with a sweet treat!

  Thank you to those already registered. If you would like to attend please let us know so we can organize courts and format.

  Join us for our Triples, Tacos, and Tequila night!

  When - Wednesday, July 22nd, 5:30 pm

  Where - Tennis Courts

  Who - Adults/All levels 

  What - Triples is our fun tennis format that uses Orange Balls in a fast-paced game with lots of movement, exciting points, and music!  Triples tennis involves three players on each end of the court at the same time (two at the baseline and one at net to start the point.)   We feed the balls, keep score, and help you with the rotations and rules.   At the end of the evening, the team with the most points will be awarded a unique trophy and bragging rights!  

  After tennis, yummy tacos will be served!  Please bring a beverage to enjoy (Margarita or other tequila cocktails add to the fun!)

  Teams will be formed by Susan and Dave so just sign up, show up and have fun!

  We plan to provide the taco and some fixings.  If you would like to share a Mexican themed dish it would be very much appreciated!  These side dishes can be simple chips and salsa, guacamole, or anything else you would like to bring.  We offer a huge “thank you” in advance to any chefs out there willing to help!  Even if you don’t play, but want to join, let us know and we would love to include you!  Spread the word and let us know what your plans are!

• Tennis Exhibition Match & Breakfast at the Courts

  Join us for breakfast at our Community House.

  Pancakes will be served at 9:00am with berries, coffee, tea, and juice.

  Please email Barb Gray if you can help with the shopping and/or making breakfast. 

  Following breakfast, our tennis pro Dave Taylor will partner up with some other fabulous players to duke it out on the courts. Come out and cheer them on!

  Contributions towards the expenses of the breakfast served will be appreciated.

• Triples and a Traditional Maine Bean Suppah

  This month's theme is Traditional Maine Bean Supper, potluck style. Reach out to Susan and Dave to RSVP and coordinate your dish or drink offering.

  These tend to fill up with JPVIS members, but if there's extra room, guests are welcome at the usual $20 guest rate.
